The steady tapping of fingers on a keyboard; the gentle scratching of a pencil on paper; this is the music to my life =] I'm a people watcher. I like to watch people as they walk by and I wonder what they're thinking, and if they think at all like me. This is where a lot of inspiration for characters come from. You can't write about a person if you don't know people. Every character I have ever written about is based on a real person, if only slightly. Many are aspects of my own personality. I like it when someone can read my work and find something of themself in it, or think, "that character's just like my friend". I like pretty much all genres of books but particularly sci-fi, action/adventure, psychological thrillers, humour, an original fantasy or a good religious fiction. I love reading because a book can take you away into another world, into the life of a character or merely a spectator, where reality doesn't exist. Aargh! Keep those sparkly vampires away from me! Well it seems you either love it or hate it but I'm more inclined to the "hate" side of Twilight. Understand I have nothing against vampires. Vampires are awesome. ...Just not the sparkly ones. Wow. You actually read this far? Well done! If I don't it's probably because it's just not to my tastes or I'm reading too much at the moment. I'm not big on fan-fictionns... Kind of at all. So if you want me to read one then you'll have to catch my attention with how you ask. If you ask in the comments section of my work I will ignore the request. I will probably not read all of a story you ask me to, only a few chapters depending on how long it is so I can get a taste of it. I'll do pretty much the same for poetry but I'm likely to read more of it. ^-^
